Hi All
So, been a while since I posted. Life got in the way what with work, 3 little 'uns and we just moved house last weekend! Hectic as you can imagine and not much golf. Recap as follows; Inconsistent and all that hence the 18 Hcp. Working on no body sway and more control in the swing. Seems to be getting somewhere!
Played team 4 ball stableford on Sat (best 2 scores count per hole) - we didnt come close to winning but after the swing changes it was good to see ball striking a lot better and ended up with 5 pars and a birdie.
First medal of the season on Friday - albeit a midweek one so see how I go. In saying that I am very positive where the game is at, at the moment. I have dropped to a 9.5 driver and incorporated Phil Micks Hinge and Hold technique for the pitches and chips, and after one round I cannot give a definitive review, although the signs are good - actually much better than what I was doing before form 60 yards or less.
Ok medal this Friday, I now know the new ball flight laws and with a controlled swing here's hoping to beat my best of 87 :( It is all about putting it together in one round, for example we have just closed the winter eclectic off yellows, 11 pars and 9 birdies... just do it in one round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
